About Us :: History

GFW Aeroservices, Inc. began operations at Nashua, NH (KASH) in 1982 using a twenty-four foot motor home that was simply parked inside the airport property. Although it was set up as a full-service FBO, it wasn't until 1984 that GFW began selling fuel and Hangar 83 replaced the motor home as the base of operations. Over the next two decades more hangars with additional ramp space (over 4.5 acres) were constructed, a fuel farm was added, and a full-service maintenance facility that supports both piston and turbine aircraft began to take shape. The company was soon on its way to becoming a big part of the New England aviation community. It wasn't long before the reputation of excellent service and competitive pricing, combined with a lack of sales tax, began to attract aircraft owners and customers to southern New Hampshire and to experience what GFW Aeroservices has to offer.
